Vernon Frank Obituary
Vernon "Vern" Joseph Frank, Age 54 of Harrison. Passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015.
He was born August 10, 1960 in Cincinnati Ohio to the late Vernon F. and Virginia Mae (nee Stenger) Frank. He grew up with his sister Lorraine, and 4 brothers: Jeffrey, Martin, Patrick and Louis. He married Diane Teeken on June 9, 1984. They were blessed with two daughters Rachel and Jordan. Vern was a wonderful father that taught his daughters hard work and selflessness. Vern was an owner of Frank Builders and enjoyed the hands on work that was involved with building. Many others know Vern from the Harrison Moose Lodge. He was one of the founding members of the Harrison Moose Lodge. Many there remember his big smile and the many laughs that were shared over the years with Vern. He enjoyed camping, woodworking and best of all having fun with all of his friends and having a party.
Survivors include his loving wife Diane. Wonderful daughters: Rachel and Jordan. Beloved siblings: Lorraine (Richard) Warner, Jeffrey (Pam), Martin (Joyce), Patrick (Paula) and Louis (Tien) Frank. Dear sister-in-law: Cheryl (Tom) Page, brother-in-laws: Mike (Deb) Teeken, and Thomas Teeken. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. Vern was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Robert Teeken.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 4 PM - 8 PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, 23670 Salt Fork Road, Bright, IN 47025.Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio.
Memorials may be made to Mooseheart Charities or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation through the funeral home.
