Robert Bischoff Obituary
Robert J. "Rob" Bischoff, age 57, resident of West Harrison, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at University Hospital.
He was born in Hamilton Ohio on November 5, 1959 to parents: Elmer J. & Maria (nee Ischenko) Bischoff. He met Tanya Rycroft and they married June 7, 1980. Robbie and Tanya were blessed with two sons: Brandon and Brett. Rob worked at General Electric as a machinist. He loved camping and being outdoors. He would often take his grandchildren fishing, trail rides in the Ranger and just watching Walker Texas Ranger with them. Robbie always had his car washed and it bothered him when it wasn't clean, and was meticulous on having the house look good. Most important to Robbie was being together with his family and creating memories of laughter. His favorite saying was "Just One More..."
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife: Tanya (nee Rycroft); devoted children: Brandon (Natasha), & Brett (Leah); dear grandchildren: Wyatt, Colt, & Bryce Bischoff; loving brothers: Elmer (Ronda) Bischoff and Richard Bischoff; dear mother-in-law: Paulette (Ken) Hoffman & Jill Rycroft; and sister-in-law: Krisann (Keith) Dikes; many nieces and nephews and we can't leave out his dogs Rex and Bella who were always by his side wanting a Milkbone.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer J. & Maria (nee Ischenko) Bischoff; and father-in-law: Tommy Rycroft.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison Ohio, 45030. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 10AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Harrison, Ohio 45030. Father Jeffrey Kemper and Father Edward Shine will be celebrating the Mass and the burial will be held at St. John's Cemetery immediately following Mass.
Since Rob's passing was unexpected they are undecided at the moment on what charities to donate to in his memory. There will be a list at the funeral home on Friday and this obituary will be updated when the they have decided.
