Pauline (nee Russell) age 88 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015. She was born on February 20, 1926 in Owsley County, Kentucky. Pauline was the daughter of Wesley & Eva (nee Banks) Moore, and was 1 of 10 children. She moved to the Cincinnati area with her siblings in her teenage years to work. Pauline married Hobert McQueen, in 1946, after he returned from serving our country in the United States Army during WWII. She was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time in her flower and vegetable garden.
Those surviving who will honor Pauline's memory include, devoted children: Dean (Wanda) McQueen and Darlene (Tim) Steele; cherished grandchildren: Brett Conrad, Lauren and Courtney Steele; and loving step-grandchildren: Lucy and Jeffery Borson Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Wesley & Eva (nee Banks) Moore, and siblings: Lincoln Russell, Riley Russell, Homer Russell, Fred Russell, Virgil Moore, Lucy McDaniel, Henry Russell, Roy Russell and Troy Russell.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030. Burial will be at Gibson Cemetery in Bright, IN. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the Charity of donors choice through the funeral home.
