Pamela Strassell Obituary
Pamela (nee Voltz) Strassell, Age 64. Resident of West Harrison, Indiana. Passed away on March 13, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Pam was born to Mary Joyce (nee Madden) Clark and the late William Voltz on October 5, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She married John J. Strassell and they had three daughters: Lisa, Lori & Nicole. Pam enjoyed shopping and loved to save. She was even known to buy a "Few" of the same item if she liked it. Many would say she was a Collector of lots of things.... She was a wonderful mother and taught her daughters how to be particular when it came to cleaning the house. Pam also enjoyed yardwork and drinking her Hamm's beer. Most importantly she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Strassell, her father William Voltz, and siblings: Linda, Sherri and Terry Voltz.
Survivors include her loving daughters: Lisa (Jim) Taphorn, Lori (Shane) Gulley & Nicole (Landon) Wilhelm. Wonderful grandchildren: Maggie, John, Caroline & Adam Taphorn, Josh (Amanda), Andrea & Allyse Gulley, Lincoln, Winston & Griffin Wilhelm and Great Grandmother of Adalyn Gulley. Beloved daughter of Mary Joyce Clark and the late William Voltz. Cherished siblings: Wendy (Tom) Busch, Connie (Pete) Fromhold.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St. Harrison. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 10 AM in St. John's Catholic Church, Harrison, OH. Mass will be followed by a graveside service at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Harrison with Fr. Jeffrey Kemper officiating.
