Ophelia C Jackson

Ophelia C (nee Caudill) Jackson, resident of West Harrison, passed away on December 19, 2016 at Mercy West Hospital, at the age of 76. She was born on May 1, 1940 in Manchester, KY to the late Harvey and Sudie (nee Gray) Caudill. Her mother passed away when she was young and was raised by her loving grandparents Henry & Sarah Gray. Ophelia was a registered nurse and worked for Christ Hospital and Jewish Hospital until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband: J.C. "Jake" Jackson, parents, grandparents and brother Buddie "Bud" Caudill.

Survivors include her beloved sons: Rick (Joyce) Jackson and Tony (Sharon) Jackson; cherished grandchildren: Sara (Phil) Ulrich, Katie (James) Weinbender, Justin, Emily & Kacie Jackson; dear sister & brother: Florence Deaton & Arley Caudill; and loving companion for many years: Hermas Howland.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 22, 2016 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 12 PM in the Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. You may make your donation at the funeral home or mail your donation to the funeral home.
