Oleeta Kuechenmeister Obituary

Oleeta Rose (nee Beck), age 87, resident of Sun City Center Florida formerly of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born in Logan, Indiana on June 15, 1928 to Roy & Dolores (nee Haas) Beck. Oleeta grew up with siblings; Verna, Janet and Richard. She worked at Champion International (a paper company) where she worked as a teletype. Oleeta married Robert C. Teetor and they had a daughter, Rosalind. Robert passed away in January 1973. She later worked at Goettle Construction where she met John Kuechenmeister, and were later married. Oleeta enjoyed playing cards; pinnacle, euchre and most recently poker. She loved going to casinos and playing the slot-machines, where she was a frequent winner. Oleeta was a great cook, and loved making meals for family & friends. She enjoyed attending various churches for their Chicken dinners as well.
Those surviving who will honor her memory include, loving daughter: Rosalind Teetor Spencer; dear step-son: Michael (Cindy) Kuechenmeister; dear daughter-in-law: Mary Lou Kuechenmeister; beloved grandchildren: Kathy Weigel & Karri (Ron) Owens; cherished step-grandchildren: Joe & Daniel Kuechenmeister & Amy (Karl) Schultz; loving sisters: Verna King, Janet (Charles) Willis; and sister-in-law: Mira Beck.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy & Dolores (nee Haas) Beck; devoted husbands: John Kuechenmeister & Robert Teetor; dear step-son: James Kuechenmeister; and loving brother: Richard Beck.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 12PM until the time of funeral service at 1PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison OH 45030. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation through the funeral home.
