Mathias C. "Motz" Kuhn

Mathias C. "Motz" Kuhn, age 97, resident of Harrison Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. He was born on May 24, 1919 in Cincinnati Ohio to Fred & Julia (nee Ernst) Kuhn. He was raised with 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Motz proudly served our country in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the St. Leon American Legion Post #464. He married Lucille (nee Dudley) and together they had 2 children: Yvonne & Dale. He worked at General Motors for many years as a master Tool & Die craftsman until he retired. In his spare time, Motz enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He brought joy to everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Those surviving who will honor his memory include his loving children: Yvonne Power & Dale Kuhn; devoted grandchildren: Tracy Power, Scott Power & Lonnie Kuhn; dear great grandchildren: Erin , Adam, Ian, Brittany & Brandon; and great great grandchildren: Justin, Jodi, Avery, Tanner, Anna, Easton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife: Lucille (nee Dudley) Kuhn; and 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 10AM until 11AM at the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, at 11:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Harrison Ohio. Burial to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio or the St. Leon American Legion Post #464 by bringing your donation to the visitation or funeral and giving to a funeral home representative.
