CRAGUE
Mary D. (nee Loy,) age 83. Resident of Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Passed away on Sunday, may 10, 2015 at Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg. She was born May 21, 1931 to the late George M. and Sarah (nee Fletcher) Loy. Her mother passed away and her dad married Jeanne (nee Burnham) Loy and she raised Mary like her own daughter. Mary moved to an orphanage and that is where she met her husband Charles. Charles and Mary had 5 children: Russell, Charles "Ric", Stephen, Ronald & Rodney. Mary loved painting and was a wonderful artist. She was a faithful servant and volunteered religiously Tuesday's and Thursday's at Dearborn County Hospital for over 30 years. Mary was a member of Dearborn Hills UMC and loved her Bible Study groups. Mary taught her children the importance of family and always being there during good times and bad. She loved to travel near and far to be with her children and grandchildren and those special times will be cherished by her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Crague in 2005, her parents, step mom and siblings: George Jr., Ronald, John, Paul, and David Loy, Richard "Buzzie" Kirk and Alma Voss.

Survivors include her devoted children and their spouses: Russell (Debby), Charles "Ric" (Rebecca), Stephen (Joyce), Ronald & Rodney (Donna) Crague. 15 Wonderful grandchildren: Tracy (Brandon) Dougherty, Rusty (Julie) Crague, Jeffery (Julie) Crague, Rita (Mike Spangler) Crague, Steven Crague, Erica (Hunter) Miller, Jennifer Crague, Melissa (Joshua) Ryman, Tony Crague, Ron (Trish) Crague, Eric (Missy) Blacker, Sarah (Rick) Lucas, Emily () Meyers, Brian (Jennifer) Crague and Harley Crague. 17 great grandchildren: Ashlie Armstrong, Zane, Kamryn, Noah Crague, Abigail, Allison and Hunter Dougherty, Isabelle Crague, Chloe & Marshal Millers, Kayla Bluma, Elliona Blacker, Charlotte & Annie Lucas and Jacob & Caden Crague and 1 great great grandchild: Liam Armstrong. Beloved sister of Robert Kirk and special aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM in Dearborn Hills U.M.C., 25365 Stateline Road, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025.

Mary had a special place in her heart for pets so in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to PAWS of Dearborn County or American Cancer Society. Bring your donation to the visitation or funeral and give to a funeral home representative. If you are unable to attend mail your donation made out to one of the above charities to Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030. They will notify the family of your donation and mail to the charity.
