Juliette Heyob Obituary

Juliette M. "Dearie" (nee Heitzmann) Heyob, age 91, of Harrison, Ohio. Passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at. St. Margaret Hall in Cincinnati. Juliette was born October 11, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joseph and Julia (nee Dischner) Heitzmann and was nicknamed "Dearie" at a young age because of her sweet nature. On October 8, 1946, she married Elmer W. Heyob at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. They had 10 children: Julia, Elizabeth, Eileen, Angela, Shirley, Elmer Jr., Brenda, Margaret, John and Jerry. Life for their large family was always busy and she was a supportive wife and mother. She helped Elmer run their business, Heyob Oil Company, for over 50 years until their retirement. She enjoyed music and played the piano. She encouraged all of her children to play the piano and to participate in the Harrison High School Band. Dearie was strong in her religious faith and was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison for her entire married life. She was especially to devoted to her friends of St. Mary's Circle of the Daughters of Isabella.

Dearie was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 yrs Elmer W. Heyob in 2005; sisters: Rozella Heitzmann & Elmira Roell.
Survivors include her children: Julia (J.D. Giffin), Elizabeth (Todd) Tilson, Eileen, Angela, Shirley (Ken Cradler), Elmer Jr. (Karen), Brenda (Michael Badalucco), Margaret (Ed Hewett), John (Diane) & Jerry (Sandy) Heyob; Beloved grandchildren: Monica & Leslie Cradler, Claire (Steve) Kinnear, Megan, Matthew & Erinn Hewett, Phillip Tilson, Kelsey (Jarad) Gregston, Alex (Sarah), John Jr., Samantha, Emily, Anne & Ellen Heyob; Great grandchildren: Journie & Augustine Heyob; dear sister: Mary Mercy Crone; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Mon., Sept. 8, 2014 at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Harrison, Ohio. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030.
Memorials may be made to St. Margaret Hall or Alzheimer's Assoc. by either giving your donation directly to the funeral home representative during the visitation or funeral or by mailing your donation to the funeral home at the address above. The funeral home will convey your donation to the designated charity and inform the family of your memorial.
