Julian Ober Obituary
Julian H. Ober passed away in West Harrison, IN. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the age of 92. He was born in St. Leon, IN. on July 26, 1924 to Edward and Magdalena (nee Knecht) Ober.
Julian served our country with honor in WWII in the US Navy from March 20, 1943 until December 21, 1945. Julian was a charter member of the American Legion Post 464 in St. Leon, Indiana and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish. He was also part of the Pioneers Engineers Club of Indiana.
Those who will miss Julian the most are his beloved wife Irene Ober; Loving daughter: Kathleen (David) Bischoff; Dear Grandson: Daniel (Courtney) Bischoff; Nephews: Tim Smith and Chris Summers. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Magdalena (nee Knecht) Ober and sister Florence Smith.
Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 from 9AM-10AM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11AM at All Saints Parish, St. Leon, IN., St. Joseph Campus. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in St. Leon, IN. Memorials can be made to the St. Leon Fire Department through the funeral home. www.braterfh.com
