John Kuechenmeister Obituary

John F., age 92, resident of Sun City Center, Florida formerly of Harrison Ohio passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. He was born September 29, 1922 in Cincinnati Ohio to parents: Alexander & Clara (nee Gibson) Kuechenmeister. John served our country in the United States Army during World War II, from 1942-1946. He enjoyed a very successful career at Western Hills High School where he was in charge of the Business Education Department, and also as a representative for the John Hancock Life Insurance Company. John was a member of many organizations including: Eagles, Elks, V.F.W, D.A.V, American Legion, Social club of the Knights of Columbus, and the National Association of Life Underwriters. He was also a past president of the Delta Chapter Phi Epsilon- an Honarary Society of Business Teachers, and past president of the Ohio Business Teachers Association.

Those surviving who will honor John's memory include, loving wife of 43 years: Oleeta (nee Beck); cherished son: Michael (Cindy) Kuechenmeister; devoted daughter-in-law: Mary Lou Kuechenmeister; beloved sister: Janice Kuechenmeister; loving grandchildren: Joe, Amy (Karl) Schultz, & Daniel Kuechenmeister; brother-in-law: Bob Dorr; step-daughter: Rosalind Spencer: and step-granddaughters: Kathy Weigel, & Kerri (Ronald) Owens.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife: Muriel (nee Bauman), cherished son: James Kuechenmeister; and devoted sister Elaine Dorr.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 9AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 509 Harrison Ave., Harrison OH 45030. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn through the funeral home.
