Jeremiah David Turner

Jeremiah David, age 19, resident of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 13th, 2014. He was born in Batesville, Indiana to parents James & Letha (nee Baker) Turner on February 13, 1995. Jeremiah was the only boy, and has 3 sisters: Brandy, Tiffany, and Star. He attended Holmes High School, liked poetry and freestyle christian rap. He wrote many poems that he shared with his family and friends. Jeremiah was a very loving and caring teenager, who loved spending time with his friends and family. He lived a very simple life, had very few personal possessions, and was known to be very giving. Jeremiah loved animals, mowing, taking walks, reading and hearing his dad preach. He was not afraid to talk to people about his Lord and Savior, and even spoke and recited scriptures from the Bible to those who needed it most. Jeremiah was a true encourager, giver and friend. He will miss greatly missed by all who knew him.

Those surviving who will honor Jeremiah's memory include loving parents: James & Letha (nee Baker) Turner; cherished sisters: Brandy (Ronnie) Jones, Tiffany (Jacob) Houseworth, and Star Turner; loving neices: Madalynn & Mercy; beloved grandparents: Jim (Jeanne) Turner, & Ester Nelson; aunts: Mary Ann Bockerover & Teresa Schoettmer, and uncle: Simon Turner.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Mary & William Baker, and uncle: William Ray Baker.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM, at Church on Fire, 10544 Harrison Avenue, Harrison Ohio, 45030. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, in Rush County-Indiana.

Memorial donations can be made to the Jeremiah David Turner Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
