Ima Pierce Obituary

Ima G. (nee Childers), age 64, resident of Okeana Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015. Ima was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 22, 1951 to Brack C. & Grace May (nee Mullins) Childers. In July of 1969, Ima married Gerald Pierce and they had 2 sons: Steve & Jason. She enjoyed her days of going to yard sales and out to eat. In her younger years she loved to drag race, and she continued to do that until the Multiple Sclerosis kept her from doing so. Since she had a difficult time getting out and being social, Ima connected with friends on facebook and thru many of facebooks' popular games.
She is survived by her loving husband: Gerald; devoted son: Steve (Christina); & dear grandchildren: Alyssa, Conner, Cody & Shelby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her stillborn son: Jason.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 5-8PM at the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine, Street, Harrison Ohio 45030. Funeral Service will be on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis through the funeral home.
