Gerald Dennis Obituary
Gerald E. Dennis, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at his home in Harrison, OH at the age of 79. Gerald was born on June 17, 1937 in Dillsboro, Indiana to the late Harry and Ila (nee Stamper) Dennis. He had 8 siblings: Harry, Sonny, Margie, Kenneth, Bill, Mary, Florence and Francis. He graduated high school and on August 27, 1960 he married Anna Lee Simpson. Gerald was a Truck Driver for many companies in the area. If he wasn't enjoying being with his family you would find him playing cards, dancing or more than likely on his John Deere tractor.
Survivors include his loving wife Anna Lee (nee Simpson); devoted sons: Greg (Carla), Gary (Robin), Gerry (Raquel); beloved grandchildren: Brad (Crystal), Jeff (Natalie), Ryan (Andrea), Eric (Jennifer), Jaime, Kyle, Sam, Jake Dennis, Erin (Riley) Kramer, Annie (Matt) Grimes Brad Rhoades, & Erin (John) Timme; cherished great-grandchildren: Ella, Max & Harper Dennis; dear siblings: Bill (Ruby), Mary (Larry) Evans, Florence Neal, Francis Mounce; and many nieces nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Harry, Sonny, Margie Eisenacher & Kenneth Dennis.
Visitation will be on Thurs., Nov. 17, 2016 from 5-8PM at the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison Ohio 45030. Blessing Service will be on Fri., Nov. 18, 2016 at 11AM at the funeral home. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital through the funeral home by bringing your donation to the visitation or blessing service and giving to a funeral home representative or by mailing your check directly to the funeral home.
