Doris M. Sprague

Doris M. (nee Klosterman), age 87, resident of Cincinnati Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati on September 6, 1927 to Edward & Hilda (nee Bruehl) Klosterman. She has been a resident of the greater Cincinnati area her entire life. Doris owned and operated a ceramic shop in Dent, Ohio and taught ceramic classes for years. She loved all crafts, but she especially loved painting, woodworking and making "long-eared' bunny rabbits. Doris was was a vendor in many craft shows over the years. She was a parishioner at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross for a number of years. Doris was a dog-lover, but her biggest joy was her family. She loved her family, her toy collie, "Shelly" and the time they spent together.
Those surviving who will honor her memory are her devoted children: Joyce (Roy) Grandstaff, the late Thomas (Cathy), Robert (Karen), and Scott (Janie Barnett) Sprague; 11 cherished grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren; and dear sister: Loraine Loth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband: Gilbert Sprague; and sisters: Mary Woodruff & Betty Bedel.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 10AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Church, 23670 Salt Fork Road, Bright IN, 47025. Burial will follow at St. Joe Old Cemetery, Cincinnati. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Burn Institute through the funeral home.
