Donald R. Freese

Donald R., age 83, resident of Lawrenceburg Indiana, passed away on Tuesday April 5, 2016. He was born on April 3, 1933 in Cincinnati Ohio to George & Catherine (nee Jaeger) Freese and had one brother, Robert. Donald served our country proudly, in the United States Army. He married Mary Joan Jaspers on November 12, 1955 and they were blessed with 2 children: Donald & Sharon. Donald spent his working years as a firefighter for the City of Cincinnati and retired after many years of service. In his spare time, you could always find him out on the golf course playing a round of golf with his family and numerous friends.
Those surviving who will honor his memory include his dear wife: Mary Joan (nee Jaspers); loving children: Donald (Meg) Freese & Sharon (Mike) Sandlin; cherished grandchildren: Michael (Misty) Freese, Jacob (Cassie) Freese, Samuel Freese, the late George William Freese, Nathaniel (Danielle) Sandlin, Rachel Sandlin, & Mathew (Stephanie) Sandlin; and 14 dear great grandchildren: Paityn, Cole, Kelsey, Emileigh Freese, Brooklynn, Michael, Logan, Andrew, Olivia, Damian, Madison, Emma & Levi Sandlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving brother: Robert Freese; and cherished grandson: George William Freese.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM, at the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison OH, 45030. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital Child Life Services, thru the funeral home.
