Craig Combs Obituary

Craig Combs, 83, of North Bend, Ohio, passed away on May 6, 2015. He was born April 17, 1932 in Hazard, Kentucky. He was the son of the late William and Ruth Combs. Craig was a graduate of Guilford High School, and the University of Cincinnati and an Air Force Veteran. He worked as an environmental engineer for Proctor and Gamble for three decades. He was an active member of Eden Chapel UMC serving on several leadership committees. He enjoyed golfing with Fernbank Thursday Men's League and served as golf starter at Aston Oaks. He embraced life and the friendships and family life brought. A loving husband of Sara (nee Fury) & the late Dolores (nee Repasy); beloved father of Vickie C. (Mark) Frazer, Tracy Lynn (Dean) Snyder, and Douglas Coleman; cherished grandfather of Megan (Phil) Frazer Linebarrier, Justin Combs Frazer, Craig "Cole" Snyder, Grant William Snyder, Natalie Marie Coleman, & Jamie Marie Walpole; loving great grandfather of Emma Grace Linebarrier, Peyton, Kian, & Banan Walpole; dear brother of Dalna (Dale) Gellert, Diane Sue (Charles "Mike") O'Donnell, the late Kathleen Stanley, the late Dorothy Townsend, and the late Pauline Collier; and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends will be on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 11AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1PM, at the Eden Chapel UMC, 150 Dahlia Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45233. Memorial donations may be made to Serving Sayler Park (Food Pantry at Eden Chapel UMC) or Heartland Hospice through the funeral home. www.braterfh.com
