Anthony Robben Obituary
Anthony Bernard Robben, resident of Cleves, Ohio. Passed away on January 9, 2015 at the age of 83.
He was born October 14, 1931 to George B and Anges (nee Bross) Robben. He grew up with his two brothers: George & Raymond and three sisters: Alberta, Mae and Agnes. Tony married Anna Mary Florence Vesper on September 17, 1955. They were blessed with 14 children. Many would remember him from the Robben Farmers Market. As a farmer it was hard work and dedication. Tony lead by example with a strong faith in God and family. He was an active member at St. John Catholic Church in Harrison and the Knights of Columbus Harrison Council #2633.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Anna Mary Florence (nee Vesper) Robben (7/13/2014); a cherished son: Howard Paul Robben; his beloved siblings and their spouses: Raymond (Delores) Robben, Alberta (Henry) Burger, Mae Scheid and Agnes Robben.
Survivors include his cherished children: Anthony (Kathy), Bernard (Patricia), Cynthia (Carl) Betsch, Dorothy (Richard) Davis, Edwin (Janet), Frederick (Rita), Gail (Gus) Streit, I. Joseph (Ann), Joann ( Anthony) Roeder, Karl (Jennifer), Lawrence (Michele), Father Matthew, and Noreen Robben; 31 devoted grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren; beloved brother: George (Carol) Robben; and brother in law JacQues Scheid. Also many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 5-9 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 10490 N. State St., Harrison, Ohio 45030. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11 AM, at St. John the Baptist Church, 509 Harrison Ave., Harrison Ohio 45030.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati by bringing your donation to the Visitation or Mass and giving it to a funeral home representative. If your not able to make the visitation or the mass mail your donation to the funeral home: 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030.
