Both of our funeral homes were established in 1940.  We believe that we consistently give the best service we possibly can to each family who calls upon us.  With respect to that pledge we hold through our daily service the meaning of "HONORING YOUR MEMORIES," to the highest level.

John Brater became a licensed funeral director/embalmer in January of 1968.  In the fall of 1968 he signed an option to purchase his first funeral home.  He feels that it is quite an honor to provide service in his hometown of Sayler Park and in the hometown of his wife, Kathie Brater. john@braterfuneralhome.com

Kathie Brater became a licensed funeral director in 1989.  She also is a licensed prearrangement specialist and has coordinated community holiday presentations to help those who have experienced a loss of a loved one to better cope with the holiday periods. kathie@braterfuneralhome.com

Jack Wenning joined our firm in January of 1996.  He feels that it has been a privilege to serve both of these community locations.  Jack and John have known each other since 1968.  Jack is known as one of the finest funeral director/embalmers in the entire Greater Cincinnati Area. jack@braterfuneralhome.com
